Visa Requirements

Citizens of the Republic of Belarus enjoy visa-free entry to Oman for stays of up to 14 days.

Required Documents for Entry

• Passport valid for at least 6 months.
• Return flight ticket.
• Hotel booking confirmation.
• Medical insurance.

Customs Regulations 

Foreigners (arriving by air only) are allowed to bring in 1 liter of alcoholic beverages and 300 cigarettes for personal use. Printed and video materials may be seized for inspection for pornography and content deemed 'undermining societal foundations'. Food and plants may be seized for inspection.

If importing medication (for personal use), a prescription must be presented (ideally with an English translation).

The import of non-canned food and beverages, medication, obscene printed and video materials, weapons (sporting, gas, bladed, toy), and palm fruits is prohibited. The import of meat products is only permitted if they are produced in accordance with Islamic law. 

The import and export of Israeli currency is prohibited in Oman. Exporting antique books and archaeological items is forbidden. The import of firearms, bladed weapons, traumatic weapons, gas weapons, including paintball and airsoft guns, as well as spearguns, is strictly prohibited.

Oman is one of the most expensive countries in the region in terms of hotel and additional service costs.

Currency can be exchanged at banks and specialized exchange offices. Some private shops accept US dollars and UAE dirhams, but the exchange rate is rounded in the seller's favor.

Weekends in Oman are Thursday (afternoon) and Friday (all day). Most shops are open from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM and from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM. Many supermarkets are open all day without a lunch break.
