Visa Requirements

Upon arrival at the airport in Egypt, you must go to the tour operator's desk to have your voucher stamped. Fill out the immigration card in English and independently purchase entry visas at the window marked 'VISA' if arriving at Hurghada airport.

A visa is not required for arrivals in Sharm El-Sheikh for stays up to 14 nights (inclusive). The option remains to obtain a free Sinai stamp for a stay of up to 15 days / 14 nights or to obtain a visa sticker valid for 30 days at a cost of 30 USD.

The cost of a 30-day visa sticker is 30 USD (effective from 01.03.2026). You also have the option to purchase visas from company representatives (35$). This visa grants the right to a single entry into the country and continuous stay in Egypt for 1 month. Please note that two stickers will be affixed to your passport: one with a denomination of 25 USD and an additional sticker with a denomination of 5 USD.

Next, with the visa affixed to your passport, proceed to the counter marked 'PASSPORT CONTROL', where a border service officer will check your documents for the right to enter the country.

Required Documents for Entry

1. Passport (the passport must be valid for at least 180 days from the end date of the trip); Children under 18 must have their own passport for traveling abroad, with the following conditions: – Traveling unaccompanied by parents/adoptive parents (hereinafter referred to as parents) requires a notarized consent from both parents; - When accompanied by at least one parent, consent from the second parent is not required, but a document confirming the status of the child's legal guardians is necessary;
2. Air tickets or e-ticket itinerary/receipt;
3. Voucher;
4. Medical insurance policy;

Customs Regulations

When importing pets into the country, you must present a valid certificate with a stamp from the veterinary service and all necessary vaccinations, including rabies. This certificate must be certified by the Egyptian consulate.

Import of foreign currency is not restricted.

Duty-free import is permitted:

• 2 cartons of cigarettes (400 pieces) or 200g of tobacco, or 20 cigars, 1 liter of alcoholic beverages regardless of strength, cosmetics, perfumes, medications for personal use, food products within personal needs.
• Audio, video, TV, and photographic equipment must be declared.

There are no specific import prohibitions (beyond commonly known items).

Export is prohibited:

• national currency, corals, items of marine fauna, items of historical value, monetary funds exceeding 10,000 US dollars.

Important Notes:

During Ramadan, tourists are advised not to consume any food or drinks, smoke, or chew gum in public places. Disregarding this rule may lead to detention by the police for disrespecting laws and traditions.

It is customary to remove shoes before entering a mosque, house, or apartment. It is undesirable to enter a mosque in shorts, short skirts, or T-shirts. Women should enter with their heads covered. It is also advisable to refrain from visiting mosques on Fridays, especially in the morning.

In Egypt, there are certain restrictions and rules for women. For example, ticket queues will be divided into two lines - one for men and one for women. When boarding transport, women should also form a separate queue and occupy the front seats. In the metro, the first carriage is usually designated exclusively for women.

For a man to initiate a conversation with an unfamiliar Egyptian woman is a breach of etiquette.

We recommend that when choosing clothing for walks in the city, you consider the morals and customs of an Eastern country. On the hotel grounds, you may dress as you wish.

In the hotel, store valuables in the safe. Do not leave anything valuable on the bed, as it may be considered a tip.

For a trip to Sharm El-Sheikh, be sure to buy special water shoes for swimming — there is a risk of stepping on corals or sea urchins.
