Visa requirements

Citizens of Belarus do not need a visa for Uzbekistan: the two countries have a visa-free regime.

Foreigners are registered at their place of stay within 3 days (excluding weekends). In a hotel, registration is done by the hotel itself. Registration is not required for stays of up to 3 days in one locality or for children under 16. Violations of the registration rules are fined.

Documents required for entry

  • Passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus. An ID card is not valid for leaving Belarus or for entry;
  • Return ticket;
  • Hotel booking confirmation (tour voucher);
  • Medical insurance — we recommend getting it for the entire trip.

A child needs their own passport. If the child travels with one parent, the other parent's consent is not required. If travelling without parents, a notarised parental consent is needed.

Good to know:

Hotels charge a tourist fee for each night. The amount depends on the number of rooms in the hotel; children under 16 are exempt.

Keep the registration slips from hotels until the end of the trip.
