Visa Requirements

To obtain a visa upon arrival at Amman Airport or at land border crossings, you must present a passport valid for strictly at least six months from the date of entry. An immigration officer may also require a voucher or hotel booking confirmation in Jordan, or an invitation from the host party.

When flying to AMMAN, the visa fee is paid at Amman Airport upon arrival. The current visa fee is 40 Jordanian Dinars (approximately 59 US Dollars).

If entering Jordan through the "Aqaba Special Economic Zone" (ASEZA) for a stay not exceeding 30 days, the visa is issued free of charge. However, you must also exit the country through one of the checkpoints within the free zone: Aqaba Airport, Aqaba Seaport, the Arava Border Crossing (border with Israel), or the Hakkah Border Crossing (border with Saudi Arabia).  

Required Documents for Entry

  1. Valid passport (valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry)
  2. Return ticket or ticket to a third country;
  3. Hotel booking confirmation (tourist voucher);
  4. Medical insurance policy
