Visa Requirements

Citizens of the Republic of Belarus can enter the UAE without a visa for a stay of up to 90 days.

Required Documents for Entry

1. Passport (the passport must be valid for at least 180 days from the end date of the trip); Children under 18 must have their own passport for traveling abroad, with the following conditions: – Traveling unaccompanied by parents/adoptive parents (hereinafter referred to as parents) requires a notarized consent from both parents; - When accompanied by at least one parent, consent from the second parent is not required, but a document confirming the status of the child's legal guardians is necessary; 

2. Air tickets or itinerary/electronic ticket receipts; 

3. Voucher;

4. Medical insurance policy; 

Customs Regulations

The import and export of currency is limited to cash funds (currency or traveler's checks) not exceeding 100,000 dirhams. 

Duty-free import is permitted for persons over 20 years old (per person): 

• 400 cigarettes/50 cigars or 500g of tobacco
• non-Muslims may import up to 4 liters of alcoholic beverages.

Prohibited imports (in addition to commonly known items): 

• photo, video materials, printed matter of objectionable and frivolous content
• religious propaganda
• goods produced in Israel and South Africa

Prohibited exports: 

jewelry, 

• jewelry,
•  antiques,
• historical valuables.

Important Notes:

Swimming in the Nile, walking barefoot, or lying on the ground without a mat on the banks of the Nile.

Displaying more than friendly affection in public places is prohibited under threat of a large fine and even deportation from the country.

When choosing clothing, avoid miniskirts, deep necklines, and see-through dresses worn without undergarments.

Particular attention to clothing should be paid by tourists staying in the emirate of Sharjah, which is the most conservative in this regard.

An overly revealing outfit can cause you problems not only with the police but also with local admirers who may immediately start making inappropriate proposals. We recommend that when choosing clothing for city walks, you consider the morals and customs of an Eastern country. 

It is forbidden to photograph women in black abayas. If you wish to photograph a man, be sure to ask for permission. 

In the UAE, there are certain restrictions and rules for women. The metro has a carriage exclusively for women. Beaches allocate special days for women-only and men-only visits. For a man to speak to an unfamiliar woman is a breach of etiquette. 

During Ramadan, tourists are advised not to consume any food or drinks in public places, smoke, or chew gum. Disregarding this rule may lead to detention by the police for disrespecting laws and traditions. In the hotel, keep valuables in the safe.

Do not leave anything valuable on the bed, as it may be considered a tip.

In the country, it is strictly forbidden to offer or give alcohol to Muslims.

Drinking alcoholic beverages, including beer, in public places (on a street bench, in a park, on the beach) may be punished with a fine and imprisonment. Alcohol is available in restaurants and bars within hotels. Off-premise sales are not permitted. In restaurants, fast-food outlets, and eateries located in the city (not within a hotel), alcohol is not served. In the Emirates, the sale of alcohol in shops, cafes, and restaurants is limited (in Sharjah, for example, alcohol is completely prohibited).
