How to install and switch on your eSIM

1. Step 1 · 5 minutes

   At home, on Wi-Fi

   1. 1Open the “Your eSIM is ready” email on another screenThe QR code is scanned with this iPhone’s camera. No email? The same codes are in your account.
   2. 2Add the eSIM with the QR codeSettingsCellularAdd eSIMUse QR CodePoint the camera at the code in the email.
   3. 3Name the new line “Travel”iPhone asks for line labels: keep “Primary” for your number, pick “Custom Label” for the new one and type “Travel”. That is the name you’ll see under Cellular. Calls, SMS and iMessage stay on your main number.
   4. 4Turn the new line off until you landTurn On This LineThe plan days won’t start early.

   Can’t scan? Tap “Enter Details Manually” and type the SM-DP+ address and activation code from the email.

   No signal after a couple of minutes? Turn airplane mode on for ten seconds and off again.
