- All Colombian citizens, regardless of the length of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days, are required to pay a national sales tax (19%) on their accommodation during their stay. Foreign citizens with a tourist visa are exempt from paying this tax. If the person subject to tax and another person exempt from tax share the same room, the rate may be applied to the entire room. - For stays on or after January 1, 2021, citizens of Colombia and foreigners staying 60 consecutive days or more will be charged a 19% national sales tax by the property at the time of stay. Foreigners on a tourist visa will not be required to pay this tax. The tax may be charged where a room is shared by a taxable and a non-taxable guest. For use the restaurant facilities guests will required COVID-19 vaccination certificate with a QR code.
- Colombian citizens must pay a sales tax of 19% with their booking. Foreign guests will be exempt from sales tax. Please show your immigration form at the hotel to guarantee exemption. In accordance with Colombian laws, the only exemptions apply to Tourists with Entry and Stay Permits with PIP-3, PIP-5, PIP-6 or PIP-10 stamps, or the TP-7, TP-11 or TP-16 temporary visa.
