Entry rules for travel to Kazakhstan
Visa requirements
Citizens of Belarus do not need a visa for Kazakhstan. No migration card is filled in — an entry stamp is placed in the passport.
You may stay in the country without registration for up to 30 days from the date of entry. The total stay without permits is up to 90 days within 180 days.
Kazakhstan is introducing an electronic travel authorization for citizens of visa-free countries. It is obtained in the QazETA app no later than 72 hours before entry. The system currently operates in pilot mode and the authorization is not mandatory. The list of countries, the timing of the mandatory requirement and the fee will be announced by the Kazakh authorities separately — check before your trip.
Documents required for entry
- Passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus. An ID card is not valid for leaving Belarus or for entry;
- Return ticket;
- Hotel booking confirmation (tour voucher);
- Medical insurance — we recommend getting it for the entire trip.
A child needs their own passport. If the child travels with one parent, the other parent's consent is not required. If travelling without parents, a notarised parental consent is needed.

Kazakhstan and Belarus are members of the Eurasian Economic Union.
In Almaty, Astana and a number of other cities, hotels charge a tourist fee for accommodation. Children under 18 are exempt.
