Visa requirements

Citizens of Belarus need a 30-day Visa on Arrival for a tourist trip to Indonesia. It can be obtained in advance online (e-VOA) at evisa.imigrasi.go.id or at the airport. The fee is 500,000 IDR. The visa can be extended once for another 30 days.

Before arrival you need to complete the All Indonesia electronic arrival card at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or in the app. It combines the immigration, customs and health forms. The card is completed no earlier than 3 days before arrival and is free of charge. The QR code you receive is shown at the border.

Documents required for entry

• Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival, signed by the holder;
• e-VOA or the visa on arrival fee;
• All Indonesia arrival card QR code;
• Return ticket with a fixed departure date;
• Tour voucher;
• Medical insurance;
• Funds for your stay — you may be asked to prove them.

Customs regulations

An adult passenger may bring duty-free:

• 200 cigarettes, or 25 cigars, or 100 g of tobacco;
• 1 litre of alcoholic beverages;
• personal purchases made abroad worth up to 500 USD per person. Duty is charged on the excess.

Cash of 100 million IDR or more (or the equivalent in another currency) must be declared.

Animals, fish, plants and products made from them are subject to quarantine inspection.

It is forbidden to export rare animals and birds, as well as items of historical and artistic value, without a special permit.

Good to know:

Use insect repellent outside the hotel. Do not step on offerings left on the ground or on the road.

Do not visit temples in short or revealing clothing.

Do not touch other people's heads — the head is considered sacred here. Displays of affection in public are considered improper.

Hand over and accept items with your right hand — the left is considered "unclean". Point at things with the thumb of your right hand.

Going shirtless or in swimwear is acceptable only on the beach. Nude sunbathing is prohibited.

Women enter mosques with their heads covered and in modest clothing; shoes are removed before entering.
