Visa Requirements

Upon arrival at an Egyptian airport, you must go to the tour operator's desk to have your voucher stamped. Fill out the migration card in English and purchase your entry visa at the window marked "VISA" if you are arriving at Hurghada Airport.

A visa is not required for arrivals in Sharm El Sheikh for stays of up to 14 nights (inclusive). You may still obtain a free Sinai stamp valid for stays of up to 15 days / 14 nights, or purchase a visa sticker valid for 30 days at a cost of 30 USD.

The cost of a 30-day visa sticker is 30 USD (as of 01.03.2026). You also have the option to purchase a visa through our representatives (35 USD). This visa grants a single entry into the country and continuous stay in Egypt for 1 month. Please note that two stickers will be affixed to your passport: one worth 25 USD and an additional sticker worth 5 USD.

Next, with your visa affixed, proceed to the desk marked "PASSPORT CONTROL", where a border officer will check your documents for entry authorization.

Required Documents for Entry

1. Passport (must be valid for at least 180 days from the end of your trip);
2. Flight tickets or e-ticket itinerary/receipt;
3. Voucher;
4. Medical insurance policy;

Traveling with Children:

Children under 18 must have their own passport for international travel, and:

– With one parent: a birth certificate is required. Consent from the other parent is not required unless a court order restricting travel has been previously issued.

– Without parents (in a group / with a chaperone): notarized consent from both parents is required.

Customs Regulations

When bringing pets into the country, you must present a valid certificate with a veterinary service stamp and all required vaccinations, including rabies. This certificate must be certified by the Egyptian consulate.

There are no restrictions on the import of foreign currency.

Duty-free import is permitted for:

• 2 cartons of cigarettes (400 pieces) or 200 g of tobacco, or 20 cigars, 1 liter of alcoholic beverages regardless of strength, cosmetics, perfumes, medications for personal use, food items within personal needs.
• Audio, video, TV, and photo equipment must be declared.

There are no specific import prohibitions (aside from commonly known restricted items).

Export is prohibited for:

• national currency, corals, marine fauna items, items of historical value, and cash exceeding 10,000 USD.

Good to Know:

During Ramadan, tourists are advised not to eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum in public places. Failure to observe this rule may result in detention by police for disrespecting local laws and traditions.

Shoes should be removed before entering a mosque, a home, or an apartment. It is inadvisable to enter a mosque wearing shorts, short skirts, or T-shirts. Women must cover their heads. It is also advisable to avoid visiting a mosque on Fridays, especially in the morning.

In Egypt, there are certain restrictions and rules for women. For example, ticket queues are divided into two lines — one for men and one for women. When boarding public transport, women must also form a separate queue and occupy the front seats. On the metro, the first carriage is usually reserved exclusively for women.

For a man to strike up a conversation with an unfamiliar Egyptian woman is considered a breach of etiquette.

When choosing clothing for walks around the city, we recommend taking into account the customs and traditions of this Eastern country. Within the hotel grounds, you may dress as you wish.

At the hotel, keep valuables in the safe. Do not leave anything valuable on the bed, as it may be mistaken for a tip.

For your trip to Sharm El Sheikh, be sure to buy special water shoes — there is a risk of stepping on coral or sea urchins.
